Arieta’s Rugby is Up-to-Speed Thanks to UPSWING

As an UPSWING Experience Scholarship recipient, Arieta is training hard and improving her speed and muscle strength through UPSWING's training program.

Arieta’s parents, originally from Fiji, are officers in the Salvation Army, which relocated them to Colorado. Struggling with leaving her friends behind, Arieta thinks rugby has helped her manage the transition and find community in her teammates.

She is thankful to have the opportunity to stay up-to-speed with her endurance and athletic abilities.
