UPSWING Foundation Rewards Grant to POOLS for Kids

UPSWING is thrilled to have contributed to the new Arvada Aquatics Center via their grant to POOLS For Kids, who provided all the diving boards to this new facility.

Founded in 2012, POOLS for Kids is dedicated to building and upgrading aquatic sports facilities in Colorado, creating accessible and high-quality venues for young athletes. In alignment with our mission to support youth sports and help athletes reach their full potential, UPSWING Foundation provided a grant to the nonprofit POOLS for Kids to contribute to the development of the brand new Arvada Aquatics Center (AAC).

The AAC offers room for various aquatic activities, making it an ideal venue for swimming, diving, or competitive meets.

“This is unique, not only for Colorado, but in some ways for the country,” said Jack Perkins, Founder of POOLS for Kids. Perkins is excited about the talent that will travel to train at the new facility.

UPSWING’s grant directly supported the diving well, which features multiple springboards and will be a premier competition and training site for years to come.

By supporting facilities like the Arvada Aquatics Center, the UPSWING Foundation continues to build opportunities for youth to excel in sports and chase their dreams. New young athletes will thrive in this new space, and UPSWING is proud to have played a role in bringing this facility to life.

Thank you to POOLS for Kids, the City of Arvada, Jeffco Public Schools, and Apex Park and Recreation District for making this vision a reality. It will be remarkable to watch future champions dive, swim, and grow here!
