Leadership Academy Kickoff at Aurora Central High School

Aurora Central High School has joined the UPSWING Leadership Academy with 1,000 other students across the state of Colorado.

UPSWING Foundation has partnered with ten schools across Colorado to give 1,000 students the opportunity to participate in the UPSWING Leadership Academy program, powered by Janssen Sports Leadership. Aurora Central High School had an educational first session, pulling students out of their shells and helping them gain the confidence to speak up, all in the first session.

The program provides emerging and established student athletes an opportunity to develop the skills and confidence they need to become leaders now and into the future. Participants learn how to become more vocal, hold teammates accountable, manage team conflict, and set the tone for success on and off the field.
