UPSWING’s Leadership Academy Kicks Off at Horizon High School

As the next school to participate in UPSWING's Leadership Academy — comprised of ten schools across Colorado — Horizon High School is ready for the challenge.

Powered by Janssen Sports Leadership, the program provides emerging and established student athletes an opportunity to develop the skills and confidence they need to become leaders now and into the future.

Horizon High School played a game we like to call Hero Ball, where a ball is tossed around as students share who their hero is. The inspiration across these athletes was apparent as they courageously opened up to share personal information in front of their peers.
