WVU Linebacker Chase Wilson Boosts Off-Season Training at UPSWING

UPSWING powers West Virginia University football Linebacker Chase Wilson’s off-season performance gains.

Chase Wilson, Linebacker at the West Virginia University, is using UPSWING as his home-base training facility to maintain peak performance during his off-season from college football. With UPSWING’s dedicated Sports Performance Coaches, state-of-the-art facility, and advanced Recovery Center, UPSWING is the perfect place for Chase to stay sharp, healthy, and prepare for his upcoming senior football season while he is home in Colorado.

Sports Performance Training is primarily focused on developing speed, strength, and agility to improve overall foundational fitness and athleticism, ultimately promoting success for any sport and reducing the risk for injuries. For Chase, his off-season training is focusing on quicker, lateral movements and change of direction to prepare him for playing in the Big 12 conference.

“A lot of the change of direction stuff we did today translates really well for my position as Linebacker,” said Chase.

Not only is Chase working hard in the facility, but he is also a proud UPSWING Ambassador, making him a role model for the youth athletes who can train around him. UPSWING is all about providing opportunities for our young athletes to train with their heroes.

This summer at UPSWING, we have multiple collegiate athletes who are a part of our Ambassador Program and using UPSWING as their training facility to workout while they are home for break. As UPSWING Ambassadors, these athletes represent UPSWING inside and outside of the facility, making the most of their off-season training while inspiring and giving back to the next generation of athletes.
