From Senegal to Denver, UPSWING is Fueling Mouhamed’s NBA Dream

An extraordinary teen basketball player from Senegal, Africa, Mouhamed left behind everything he knows to pursue his dream of going pro.

Between performance training sponsored by UPSWING Foundation and his regular basketball practices through Accelerated Prep, he works hard every day to improve his athletic abilities.

Growing up without a father, he is driven to achieve athletic success in the US so he can bring it back home to his mom, who has supported him throughout his life and is also his hero.

Although his main goal and focus is to play in the NBA, he is also studying hard in hopes to one day become a pilot. Drive, dedication, and passion, with a little support from UPSWING, fuels Mouhamed’s basketball dreams.
